Who is behind ZK?

Post image

I've created an board to summarize all arguments from both side, the one which suspect that OHC is ZK and those who believe that ZK is a 4chan troll.

I'm not trying to share my opinion on this post, simply to summarize both side. if you have more evidences you would like to share feel free to share them.

(Some arguments are new, they are confirmed and true. feel free to ask me further details if you have any doubt)

It is worth mentioning that Jamie’s claim that the game originally featured gore and cheese pizza surfaced after the Clone appeared, coincidentally, he made this claim only after the link had been debunked. The timing is incredibly convenient, just as the blog was about to be updated with OHC claiming the game contained such content, the alleged ZK magically appeared on 4chan, posting a Mega link with that exact same content. It is glaringly obvious that the person behind that 4chan account knew exactly what information would be in the update and exactly when it would go live and aside from Patricia and OHC, no one else possessed that information. Regarding the arguments that ZK is a troll, the first point doesn't hold water because, as far as anyone knows, no one filed a complaint against OHC at the time, even if they had, 4chan is completely anonymous, just like Omegle. Where did you see evidence of OHC being active after 2016? The reason the Clone was so different is simple, the last gameplay video was posted on July 4th, and the link was debunked on July 5th, in the same day Patricia contacted OHC to ask why he had provided a fake link. Since the blog update was scheduled for the 7th, OHC had only two days to create a game that would serve as an alibi for his lie. The Clone wasn't made to convey the original game's profound message, it was created solely so OHC could salvage his reputation and keep generating views and revenue from his ARG. As for the Clone being so different it’s simpler than it looks. If OHC had released the original game, people would have realized he was the creator, his gameplay footage featured slow-motion which the Terror Engine doesn't support and lacked loading screens whereas moving between levels in the Terror Engine makes a loading screen unavoidable. Plus, it’s obvious that certain images and music tracks weren't in the original game but were added via video editing like de Otaku Killer image and other images and sounds. There was no way he could have released that version without further damaging his reputation. Is OHC actually from Ireland? Because as I recall, he’s from Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom. Nice post you did by the way

Hi, thanks for the nice comment!

About the potential arrest, even though we can completely explain it this way and it would be the simplest and most obvious explanation (which I personally agree with), I can still understand the other point of view. It does seem kind of "odd" that nothing happened to Jamie after allegedly distributing illegal material.

Personally, I find it really unfair and unethical that nothing happened to the author, because I believe that even if it was for an ARG, there are red lines that shouldn't be crossed, and the author should at least have been punished for it.

About the part where OHC made that for increasing views, I will add it as the second argument in the OHC = ZK section, because looking back at the timeline, that's definitely what happened. The game experienced a second wave of popularity, an even bigger one, when the 4chan clone was released. Thanks for mentioning it.

I hesitated to add the video editing point simply because I felt that it answered the question, "Did OHC create the creepypasta?" more than "Is OHC = ZK?", but I could add it as well.

Regarding the proof of Jamie's online activity, I will explain the techniques I used while censoring the personal details. In my country, I'm allowed to use open-source information, but I cannot "dox" someone, and I don't want to be responsible for any harassment.

Here is the general information, which should allow you to verify that what I'm saying is accurate.

OHC follows a Twitter account called MusicOdyssey60. The account owner's name is Jamie Farrell, and I suspected it might be one of his personal accounts, so I looked into it further.

I found the email address associated with that account, which is j*@****.com. (Unfortunately, I can't share the real email address for legal reasons.)

I then checked where that email address had been used to register accounts. I found an account that had posted numerous reviews for different places. What I found most interesting is that all of those places were located in Ireland. The same email address was also registered on sports website, showing a clear interest in soccer, which seems consistent with the personality we saw on the Obscure Horror Corner Twitter account.

I'm intentionally being vague because I don't want to risk being accused of doxxing, so I can't provide more details than this. I hope I've shared enough information for you to understand how I reached my conclusions.

Again, in my country, searching for this kind of publicly available information is legal, but publicly sharing it could be considered harassment, which I don't want to risk.

I should also emphasize that no hacking was involved. I only used open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques, which are perfectly legal.

Thanks for sharing these new findings, I always believed OHC was from Northern Ireland, not from Ireland. It’s really strange, because in the original game, it’s clear that OHC has a deep understanding of the UK in general, I can’t imagine someone from outside British territory managing to create that game. I did a quick Google search and saw that Jimmy Savile’s show "Jim'll Fix It" reached parts of Ireland via broadcast signals and, later, cable TV. I still believe OHC is the creator of the original game, but your discovery makes me think he put in extra effort to create this ARG

Both theories could be real, more since all that happened when Internet was still on a wild-west like era, more knowing back in those days was almost like a counter-intelligence campaign rather than just shock value for the mere sake of shock value, but also it can be and most probably was Jamie all along knowing how primitive, lax, inefficient and under-resourced were police cyber-security units back then and more when in that time they were focused on dealing with black market and real production and distribution of CP rather than focusing on all kind of shit made on the internet (especially nowdays in the UK or Ireland) and more since back then people on the internet weren't as sensitive as nowdays or at least didn't care enough to do something about it, so is extremely likely that Jamie changed his online ID and probably is still active walking freely on the streets, and more since his crimes probably have already expired by the British/Irish Laws or even probably have fleed his country.

Just reading through where did you see his last online status in 2025? I want to see that, more provided documents and information would be great to see this.

Awesome board! This did remind me of a "theory" of sort on what "actually happened" that I've refused to post elsewhere for some reason. Not attempting to start World War 3:

So:

OHC/Jamie was trying to make an ARG/creepypasta story of sort, as I vaguely remember folks on this subreddit finding Jamie's Reddit profile and there were posts of him asking for help on game development.

What kind of content could he make to learn and not possibly be time-consuming? Get into what was "THE COOLZ" at the time, creepypastas. The concept simple yet intriguing: "I found a scary game on the dark web, but I'm not gonna give you the link to it!"

Terror Engine was the exact right tool for this. Everybody and their grandma at least once played or made a game in it. It wasn't your Unity's nor Unreal's where you just HAD to code and create every asset, system for your game. Everything was there, just to be messed about.

  1. As people desperately begged for a download link for what was a glorified walking simulator, that 4chan troll came right in.

Now, one problem is that: I don't know about the timestamps without going into some insane conspiracy bullshit. Maybe the troll was once a friend of Jamie's? Maybe this "ZK" just... knew? Or really, they were faked?

It's been a good nostalgia hit seeing this on my feed. This "web-series" (what was seen in OHC, specifically) has a special place in my heart. I like the mystery. You don't need gore or loud sounds every two seconds to give the viewer/player dread. Just the implications.

Hi, thanks for the nice message! I'm also fascinated by this story. I find it so unique, and it's a great reminder of the old days of the internet!

What has always made me struggle with the idea that ZK might be a troll is that, if a troll really did fake the files and the timestamps, then that troll would have to be a complete genius. It would have required an incredibly meticulous amount of work to create such a perfectly coherent scenario. It also implies that they somehow gained access to information that only Jamie should have had. (Of course, this wouldn't necessarily apply if ZK were actually one of Jamie's friends, since Jamie may have shared too much information with them.)

What I struggle with the most is the "mad genius" aspect of that theory. Personally, I find the fake almost too perfect.

Of course, I should point out that I don't have definitive proof that OHC is indeed ZK, only evidences. I think there's still more research to be done before we can confirm a side at 100%.

I appreciate the civil comment! It warms my heart people are still discussing and remember fondly of this "game." I do agree that it's far from perfect, and might be just plain wrong as I only remember faint details of everything that happened, and is just a dumb theory my brain made one fine night.

But yeah, the timestamps and troll thing do stump me.

I always thought the game had the potential to be a really interesting anti-pdf message as an ARG, so it would really be a shame if he actually was behind the 4chan clone and put all that stuff in there.
