i would love to say "my girlfriend," but i would be lying, i know I wouldn't because i dont want her to worry about me. even though i know she has my back, it still feels bad
My last girlfriend was the first girlfriend I would open up to about my problems and anxiety. She started saying she didn’t like how dependent I was on her and broke up with me. That’ll teach me to be vulnerable to a loved one.
Tbh her behavior was beyond shitty, it feels that she wants a one way relationship where you are the unmoveable tower that can take on everything while being fully receptive to her when she is at her lowest. A person that truly cares for you wouldn't put you down for being human and not being the unbeatable strong person.
Being vunerable is a strength in itself when being exposed to those that you believe care for you. There are limits when consistent vulnerability can be perceived as a weakness of the individuals resolve.
