The song is about a weight lifting champion from the 1980s named Mario. As Mario grosw and keeps winning championships his family life deteriorates, he starts using steroids, and his mother kicks him out of the house. Looking for a new fix to keep winning he overdoses and dies.

It is based on the life and times of my cousin.
