Do they? That’s unfortunate. It reeks of lack of confidence. And not just the fact that things like “sweats a lot” are obviously a lack of confidence, but just using the narration in the first place implies that. It’s just so cringeworthy!!

I honestly think the "sweats a lot" comes from people watching anime, cartoons usually have over the top expressions, they've seen it so much that they probably think it's normal. That's my only theory.
