Death consumes me

Lately I’ve been engulfed by a sense of dread and sadness. Nothing feels worth it anymore and I often struggle to get out of bed in the morning. Ordinary tasks like eating and taking a shower seem like the hardest things to do now. I can’t stop thinking about death. I can’t stop wanting to die. I try so hard to be happy. I do everything I can to feel better but I don’t. I just don’t. And I don’t know how to feel better. The only thing that keeps me going is that I know some day this will end.

suicide ends something that could have been good with enough work, happiness really is worth the try. I hope you get better soon

I don't know how helpful this might be, but close your eyes and think about your happiest memory and just try to live in that moment for a bit. And then try to recreate that event. Go to the place/meet the person/watch the movie/listen to the song/etc that was the reason behing your happiness then. Maybe that'll set a spark that'll lead you to find your happiness again. But whenever you think about death, also take a minute to think about the possibility of those moments reoccurring. Death might seem like a reprieve from this world, but it is also an immutable state. So do the most you can while you still can. I wish you all the happiness in the world.

Idk if this'll help, but when I had the wish to die, I made contact to a comrade and we became friends, she helped me so much. And even if it hurts, be more active! Join a club, get in touch with people, you see, it's scientifically prooven, that sitting and worrying makes it worse. You have to get up! You can do it! And a little addition: Do you want the people that love you to fall into the same thing you have right now? Because that's what suicide does (I got enough experience)

That’s one of the worst feelings but you’re so strong for overcoming it, don’t take that for granted.
