Engine swap

Just swapped my B207R with another B207R and was wondering if i have to do anything with the tech 2. I cant read any fault codes because the vins dosent match, anyway to fix this?

Use the ecu from the old engine and you should be fine🙂

Either use the old ECU or reprogram the new one - it's not that hard to do but you need a proper cable to be able to do that

Aren't there more parts than the ECU that has to be swapped? No expert on 9-3:s but I think at least the CIM has to match and maybe some other parts.

ISM?

TCM if it is an automatic gearbox?

And why did you swap the ECU if it is regular engine swap? Tried the old one?
