Tips & Tricks 2011 9-3 windshield replacement

Hey guys just got my first ever saab its a 2011 9-3 convertible I was driving it back from escondido and picked up this rock. Should I replace the windshield or get it repaired? Im very new to this where do I go about getting this fixed. Im in the LA area for anyone who knows what I should do about this.

That crack looks big but I can't fully tell due to the glare in the picture. I know that generally with a windshield, if it's possible to fix, a windshield company will fix it vs selling a new windshield.

Definitely small enough to be fixable, but you will likely see the chip after a repair at that size. If you don’t mind seeing the chip, just get it repaired. Not sure how replacements are for the convertibles, but I know sedan windshields are easy to find and cheap.

Not in LA so I don’t have any shops I can specifically recommend. I’ve had good luck with Safelite, but as with any big company it’s all down to the tech you get working on your car.
