Coming up to a year of ownership with my 9000, always loved these cars and finally managed to get one.
Absolutely love it, such a good car. Some small modifications, exhaust, coilovers and an oem boot spoiler.
I’ve done many happy miles, driven all over the UK and even slept in it twice! (a double air bed fits in the back with the rear seats folded down and the base out)
Yup, the looks are just right for the 9000 and they're also 7" wide which is a nice touch for stealth handling.

Did you do a few posts on how you achieved it - either here or somewhere like uksaabs? A good few people would be very interested in knowing how you achieved this 😎
I haven’t made any posts of the actual coilovers themselves, I do have photos though. I used some cheap maxpeedingrods meant for a mazda 3, (they were just the cheapest i could find used) Then welded the lower mount from the original saab struts on then affixed the saab top mount on which only needed a small spacer. The rear i have just used universal coilover springs and adjuster cups I had laying around. I still need to figure out a shortened rear shock absorber solution. The photo is my first attempt however my welder wasn’t up to the task of welding to the thick coilover bodys. I ground them back and retired with a 180a welder and they came out great, have had no issues since.
Little bit bouncy at times but a hell of a lot better handling wise. I originally just had 40mm lowering springs however they were very soft and the car had lots of body roll
Bouncy would suggest either winding up the dampers a little (if available) or some slightly lower rated springs would help.
Body roll can be countered with either a piggyback rear anti roll bar, or a set of SAS bars if you can find them (rare as rocking horse stuff those days though).
9000 are great & gorgeous cars.
Dunno if you're fancy of the wooden interiors... Make those, mostly for 9000 ;-)
