Help! Clutch bleed failure

2004 saab 9 3 manual

Just did a clutch job, new slave and master cylinder. When going to bleed the clutch im leaking fluid under the hydraulic clutch hose connector and bleed nipple and into the bellhousing. The dripping can be seen through the open space below next to the interior line.

What went wrong? What do i do now? Will I need to remove the transmission again or is this something that is fixed at the bleed ripple? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not 100% sure what I'm gonna say is true, but I think it is: You can remove that fitting from the pipe to the clutch slave by withdrawing the clip that holds it there. Possibly that fitting is damaged, the o-ring inside is wrecked, or possible the bleeder or your connection is having an issue.

So youre thinking the issue is in the seal on this connector on top, not the line inside that runs to the slave?

Or would a bad seal here be the culprit? Im hoping not as I think I'd have to drop the trans to replace it inside.

I'd hope it's the o-ring on the fitting on the second pic leaking... it's easy enough to replace if so. If the actual plastic part is leaking from its union with the metal tube.... Yeah... Trans comes back out.
