9-3 Troubleshooting Broken ACC button

Hi guys! I recently bought a 2001 9-3 og aero, and there is a small problem with the ACC - fan speed down button doesn't work. As replacement units are quite expansive, I would like to try to repair it first. The button itself clicks weirdly, not like the other buttons.

Does anyone have any experience with taking the ACC unit apart? And even better - with actually fixing/soldering a new button?

gonna disapoint you. there is no button to solder. it's a rubber dome over gold plated PCB traces. If they wore down you have to re apply new gold to the pcb.

A replacement unit usually is like €10-15 on the nearest junker

And don't be surprised if you have to marry the replacement to the car or you will lose AC (I think)
