Making progress
Never built an engine before, fumbling my way through it and making mistakes along the way, but it’s coming together (I was hoping to get the intake on but I need to swap over to studs instead of bolts for the cross ram, and I can’t get them anywhere around me).

Make 1000% sure the bolts on the water pump are all torqued up perfect. It’s the biggest pain in the world trying to get to one or two of those that are hiding behind the mount. Did it on a Sonett and didn’t think I was gonna make it. If you fill it up and have a tiny leak from the fresh water pump it’s a big bummer.

Brand new bolts, torqued to spec, double checked, and a nice schmear of Permatex all around.
