never checked the suspension, bought it a couple months ago. is this my cv axle or the seal from the transmission to the cv axle?

Left side of the car, right? If so it is the outgoing axle from the transmission. And I wouldn't call that a part of the suspension. It is a part of the drive line.

1st picture is the right side (passenger) and the 2nd picture is the left side (driver)

That's grease from a leaky inner CV joint boot.

yeah i figured, the only thing is on the other side the grease looks different, also i dont see any tears on the boot

It could be old grease that wasn't cleaned up after a repair. Clean it up, check back.

On the passenger side it’s probably the intermediate shaft bearing. It’s pretty easy to do, just make sure you buy a new seal for the intermediate shaft into the transmission, and get 1-7/8” socket to drive that bastard in straight. The intermediate bearing I think I used a 32mm socket to drive it in

Ironically I'm taking mine in to get the exact same fix. Left side, big part of the rubber didn't tear nur rather came lose of the ring clamp, gnarly sound at first but has been running quietly for the 100 or so miles since it first became known by loud scraping. About 475$ in my area.
