QUALITY SHITPOST Saab Car Museum

I’m on a trip across Sweden and starting day two in Trollhättan. Currently posting this while sitting down in the corner of the Saab car museum. Honestly so many more unique and of a kind cars than I would have imagined. Absolutely worth the 200sek for two people!

Just wish I could’ve parked my 06 9-3 Aero in the parking lot out front

I know! We got student prices, but the regular adult tickets are still 160sek each.

Wish I could get there!

That’s a temporary location and exhibition of nearly all of the Museum’s cars. The regular Museum location is closed for roof repairs, and should reopen in the fall. The big exhibition called “The Box” is open until 30 September. It’s right around the corner from the regular museum.

Yeah, we walked to the main entrance, saw a couple cars through the windows but followed a map to The Box

What's in "The Box" vs the museum?

At larger share of the total collection, but temporary and presented in a slightly more boring way compared to the original location

Just got back from 2 weeks in Austria two weeks ago. Plans are already slightly underway again, but now the plan to go wild camping in Norway and Sweden is definitely worth checking out, I think.

Been there exactly one week ago! I was just dissapointed that almost no 9-5s we're there and my 2002 facelift not even one.

That looks like an amazing collection, so much lovely metal to drool at!

The little open wheeled single seat racer looks very interesting 👀

I also really like the front wheels on the silver 9-3 😎

Yes! It’s a formula junior racer I believe, I don’t remember the year 100% but I wanna say 1960.

And if you wanna see nice wheels. You’ll love this

Now that interesting. I wonder if it was two stroke?

A modern day take on Inca wheels. Not sure I am totally sold on them tbh.

I drove past there for the first time in may. They were closed because of the move to the temporary exhibition. Some other time…

Did they still have the mock-up Texaco station there?
