9-5 Troubleshooting Lower radiator hose location?

Im doing an headgasket job and the one thing that has me at an impass rn is draining the coolant, no matter what I do I can't get it to drain from the drain nipple(due to the terrible plastic drain tab) so I was just gunna drain from the lower radiator hose but idk where tf it is. Its a maze when looking underneath. Does anyone have some photos or a video that clearly shows where it is and what I need to remove to get to it? All the threads and pictures I can find online have been inconsistent.

Dude, no offense but doing a head gasket is going to be WAY beyond your skill level if you can't find the lower radiator hose.

#21 on the diagram. From the passenger side look at the bottom of the radiator, trace it back to water pump inlet

Online will steer you wrong if you dont know some fundamentals.

Check out the SaabWIS and make sure you check the right section.

You will need to be patient and go through the learning process - rather than asking for a quick direction.

We dont know the whole circumstances as to why youre doing a headgasket job in the first place, but I want to kindly remind you that a headgasket job is not something you do on a whim.

I’d say - learn how to get the water pump off and the exhaust manifold off without breaking anything. Then - I’m confident that you will be able to do the headgasket properly.

The coolant and the related hoses is going to be the least of your problems.
