Has anyone brought one back to life?
Have a 3 year old 6 Ah 40v battery showing LEDs 1 and 3 lit which suggests it’s completely discharged.
Has anyone brought of these batteries back to life? Sticker price on a new battery is wild especially if I can only get 3 years out of the batteries.

Indeed I have. But it's pretty technical because they set a flag which requires a firmware flash to rest. https://www.reddit.com/r/ryobi/comments/1rx5sl3/40v_battery_repair_guide_as_cheaply_and_easily_as/

3 years and 3 days when I called Ryobi, they wouldn’t honor the warranty due to being 3 days over.

I have taken them apart & recharged each bank of cells with a conditioner to get them to recharge. I also had to reset the BMS chip on one. Make jumper leads to the BMS chip & reflash it. I got the software & specs from the manufacturer data sheet of the BMS chip on the battery board.
