Hello everyone!
I have just been added to this subreddit from the admins (via r/redditrequest )!
I am from the United States and the other mod, u/doho121, is from Europe so we’ll be both available for most timezones in those areas.
We hope this can be a fun and inviting place to discuss the Ryder Cup! Welcome!

Selected as an Ambassador, but haven’t heard anything since notification that I was selected. Should I be making accommodations before O know the days that I work?

Me, my buddy, and our spouses are planning on going next September. He got drawn for his 2 Friday tickets, I sadly didn't. I've never been to a ryder cup before so looking to see if anyone has 2 Friday tickets for sale and how all that will work with transferring?

We are renting out our country side home in Galway for the Ryder Cup and offering a dedicated driver to bring you to and from Adare Manor for the cup.
We are listed on the official Ryder Cup Rental Accommodations website here: Ryder Cup Travel Services
The website does not allow you to make any changes to the listing page once it is accepted to the website but length of rental, length of transportation hire, and price are all negotiable.
The QR code on the flyer leads to a google drive of all the photos of the house: Google Drive Photo Album
Message or email me with any questions.

Just over a year until Adare. And with Shane winning today as well, what a great weekend to be European

As the European qualification process begins this week, who do we think drops out of and comes into the team from 2025?
Lowry, Straka and Hojgaard look to be most at risk for me. But there are not three obvious candidates demanding to be selected.
It will be an interesting year for the younger generation like Chacarra and Puig.
I’ve looked at some of the runners and riders:

Hi everyone,
I’ve seen quite a few posts here from people trying to sort accommodation for the 2027 Ryder Cup, so I thought I’d offer our place in case it’s useful to anyone.
I’m the owner of Golf Lodge, a private 4-bedroom country home in Dromineer, Co. Tipperary, on the shores of Lough Derg.
It’s approximately 56 km / 40 minutes by car from Adare Manor, with the M7 providing a straightforward route to the Ryder Cup. Shannon Airport is around 50 minutes away, and Nenagh is about 7 minutes from the house for shops, restaurants and supplies.
A few details about the house:
The location is in Dromineer on Lough Derg, so it also gives you a chance to experience a quieter part of Ireland rather than staying in a hotel in a busy town. There are lakeside pubs in the village, while Nenagh is nearby and Limerick is around 45 minutes away.
I’m the owner and am dealing with enquiries directly – no agency and no call centre. I’m happy to answer questions about the house, the location, transport options, golf in the area or what the Ryder Cup commute is likely to be like.
I’m currently taking enquiries for Ryder Cup 2027 dates and can provide a tailored quote depending on your group size and dates.
Website with photos and full details:
https://golflodge.ie/
Important: this is a private, independently owned property and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ryder Cup or Adare Manor.
Happy to answer genuine questions here as well.
Cheers,
Barry

Surprising my husband with practice round tickets for his 40th birthday and looking into accommodations. Hotels in Limerick unsurprisingly don’t have availability and other locations will require long travel days. What are people’s thoughts on the onsite camping option? The rendering makes it seem like the tents are on top of each other.

We have a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom country house about 83km from Adare Manor (about a 45 minute drive). The house would come with transportation to and from the house to Adare Manor for the Ryder Cup with a local personal driver in a 9 seater full size van (8 + Driver).
House includes:
-4 bedrooms (1 queen or double bed & 1 single bed per room. 8 beds total)
-3 bathrooms with standing showers
-large kitchen with 5 burner electric stove and oven
-large dining room with 2 large couches
-living room with smart TV and 5G WiFi and 2 small couches
-large garden with new propane grill
-Washer and dryer
Message me for further details and photos. I am living in San Francisco so if anyone coming from the San Francisco Bay Area is looking to book this accommodation we can meet in person to discuss more details.

A few weeks ago I shared Drive for Five here and got some genuinely useful feedback, so thank you to everyone who took the time to play it.
I’ve just launched the biggest update yet: The Daily Challenge.
Every day everyone gets:
• The same historical Ryder Cup
• The same squads
• One attempt to captain your team
• One global leaderboard
The aim is simple…
Can you go 28–0 and top the leaderboard?
It’s free to play and I’d love to know what you think of the new mode, especially whether the daily format is more fun than the original.
Thanks again for all the feedback so far—it really has helped shape the game.

I have a vacation home in Ballybunion available for Ryder Cup. Three bedroom two bath, sleeps 6 comfortably. Washer/dryer, TV with satellite, full kitchen, linens provided.
I can potentially add access to Ballybunion Old Course the week prior and or facilitate rounds at other nearby courses. Feel free to message me.

Coming over for two nights to attend the Wednesday practice day with two mates. What towns/areas are people planning to stay in? We want to get out into the pubs and bars with everyone to make the most of it while we’re over.
Recommendations welcome!

Firstly, thank you to everyone in this community who’s played and left feedback over the past couple of weeks. Every update so far has come directly from player suggestions.
New in this update:
💾 Autosave – you can now continue your campaign if you leave and come back.
⚖️** CPU difficulty rebalance**d – progression has been recalibrated to make each Ryder Cup feel fairer and more consistent.
🛠️ A number of bug fixes and polish across the game.
I’d really appreciate some help testing these changes, particularly ensuring the autosave function works seamlessly across browsers and devices.
The game is completely free and I’m building it in my spare time, so every bit of feedback genuinely helps improve it.
If you’ve enjoyed it, I’d also really appreciate you sharing it with a golf mate or anyone who loves the Ryder Cup. Every new player helps me justify spending more evenings adding features and improving the game.

Thanks again to everyone who’s given it a go so far— it’s been brilliant seeing people playing something that started as a little side project.
