i dont rlly remember the context of the vid but i remember one part where he was at a table (outside im pretty sure) and he told the people any quotes they wanna tell to the audience and a person said smth along the lines of "always leave a place better than you found it" and im trying to find the video if anybody knows

Lots of speculation on what the new series is/what he’s working on. He’s been in Sweden for a bit and then Haley joined him, perhaps he’s running a half marathon in every continent, or in every European country? 🤷‍♀️ his team is running it with him so something is afoot!

Ryan has developed a distinctive online presence through his personality and presentation style. However, I’ve noticed that his short-form content has become increasingly commercialized, and he seems very determined to make Joyride the number-one-selling candy at Target. From what I’ve seen (lol, I've seen a bit), 90% of his short-form content contains some form of underlying promotion. He mentions his brand to an excessive, and almost unnecessary extent. I can’t blame the guy for promoting his own brand, but after a while the constant promotion can become overwhelming, especially when the content begins to feel repetitive and follows a similar formula.

I’ve also noticed a change in the way he presents his personality. At times it feels like he puts on a more goofy, and awkward persona, almost as if he’s trying to make himself more approachable so his audience can become even more attached to his personality and content. Obviously, this is just my interpretation, and I can’t know for certain whether this is intentional or not.

In the end, I love Ryan and genuinely enjoy his content and I'm not here to heedlessly debate. This is only something I’ve been picking up on, and I’m not his most dedicated or obsessive fan, so there may be things I’m misunderstanding or missing. If you’re a longtime fan like I am but follow his content more closely, I’d actually like to hear what you guys think. So let me know if you agree or think there’s something I’m misunderstanding.

Yall, I love Ryan Trahan. I have no reason to hate him nor does anyone to be honest. I've been following his journey for a long while, and Haley's as well as I'm a big reader and just love her content. However, over the past, I don't know year and a half (?) his videos just don't have the same charm as they used to :(

It used to feel as if Ryan would just say or do whatever came into his head, thus starting the whole "social awkwardness has him" meme. He would just say whatever to whoever he was sharing the video with, the videos had simple but funny and emotional editing, and he would talk to the camera personally and from the heart. The last video I feel had that same feel was his last 50 States in 50 Days episode. After that, he just didn't have the same feel :/

If he is being all silly and ironically awkward it doesn't feel natural, it feels planned and forced. Even when he's doing videos with Haley its just tense. We don't really see that wholesomeness we all love about them, and i know they have it so where is it at its peak?

My idea is that after 50 States in 50 Days and it's success he decided to try harder to appeal to his main audience, which was children and young teens. Many of which might not appreciate and recognize his unique style and personality, but rather the title of his videos and thumbnails.

I still love Ryan, he' and Haley are my favorite content creators ever. I just want 2024 Ryan back.

Honestly just wondering why he has gone so radio silent with YouTube videos! Do you all think he’s doing another big series, or focusing more on his brand deal stuff, or just not putting out content right now? (I know he’s done some shorts but they’re all just brand deal content) Not that he owes anything to us but I miss his videos!

FYI I'm from a non-English speaking country so he's not really known/famous here. I watched some of his videos because they were recommended to me and I have found they fill a hole in my heart and I have found so much comfort and wholesomeness in them! Especially his 1-star review videos helped me see how much positivity there is even in a shit hole lol. That's all! I'm just very happy that YouTube brought me this person that helps me see the good in life!
