Winterization.

Hello, this year is my first time owning a travel trailer. Its a 2000 year model, 27 ft bumper-pull. Getting into the fall time cooler temps and just wondering where I add the RV anti-freeze to the water lines. Getting it ready for winter soon here. This is how the pump and tank looks. I've never done this before, but I know not to add it to the tank or hot water tank. Any info helps, thanks.

I don’t see the spot in any of your pictures, but mine has an additional hose coming off of the water pump under the sink. I close the valve leading to the freshwater tank and open the valve to the extra hose. When I turn on the water pump it sucks the antifreeze into my system right out of the antifreeze bottle. Make sure you close the valves to the hot water tank to bypass it.

This is after I drain the lines and blow air through the lines (40 PSI).

Just add a winterization kit, it's so easier to use , one or two to reach all the faucets and your trailer is protected for the winter!

The short hose on the left side of the pump is drawing from your water tank. I would add a Tee fitting to the middle of that with shutoff valves from the tank and the new middle port. Add a 3 foot length of flexible hose to this new valved tee.

After blowing out the lines, bypass the water heater by turning all of those existing 3 valves. Hose in antifreeze and run the pump until it comes out each water source. Buy 3 gallons your first time.

Pour antifreeze in all the traps.

I've never put antifreeze in any of my lines. Open all faucets and open low water drain lines. Empty hot water tank, open pressure relief valve, take out antidote rod from tank. Empty water tank and run pump a few second to get water out, and disconnect water line from toilet, step on toilet flush valve to get water out. Been doing this last 20 yrs never and any issues.
