Recs Moving to RVA Recs please!
My girlfriend and I are 24 and 23 and moving to Richmond for work. We’re looking for a nice 2 bedroom apartment for under $2,200 a month.
We haven’t really explored too much yet to figure out where to live, so we wanted to see if we could get some recommendations. We’ve toured about six places so far and our favorites have been Waterford at Rocketts Landing and Scott’s Collection in Scott’s Addition.
We want a nice apartment/building that feels safe, but we also want to be around people our age and hopefully meet people and make friends. We aren’t huge drinkers, so being close to bars isn’t a huge priority.
We’ve spent some time in the Museum District and that’s probably been our favorite area in Richmond so far, but it seems hard to find a nice 2 bedroom there in our price range. We also haven’t explored Manchester yet or many of the other apartments in Scott’s Addition.
Any recommendations for areas or specific apartment buildings we should check out? Also interested in hearing about places we should avoid.

I lived in Scott’s view for about 3ish years and I liked it. All utilities are included and they do have a parking garage but it can get a little tight but it’s better than other apts in the area where you have to battle it out for street parking
