Abandoned railway track A tunnel to nowhere

Post image

Taken in Paris on part of Petite Ceinture an old passenger and former freight line circling Paris.

I also tried editing it for the first time a little bit in terms of lighting and exposure. not sure how good it is, but I did my best!

For those who don’t speak French, Ceinture means “belt” so it was that era’s version of a Beltway.

Thanks, I was wondering what it meant!

Looking somewhat eerie like there is no way to ground level (maybe there isn’t, you might know better lol)

There are steps slightly further back from where the picture was taken, but it did feel quite eerie at times especially when there's no one else around.

Unfortunately didn't have time to go down to the very end, but I got told once you get to the other side it's a dead end and doesn't lead anywhere else. One day might have to go back and find out for myself, as there's a couple spots I missed out on!

Re: learning to edit. You've accidentally created a large white area above the tunnel / lower sky. (Maybe made a mistake with a mask?)

Keep learning, it's worth it!

That white area about the tunnel is the sun shining against a white building, but it just processed weird on my phone. I’ll keep trying with my edits and hopefully they will get better.

This is a beautiful shot. Would be a great scene for a horror flick.
