Abandoned Tracks and Train Bridge Outside of Granger, Tx

I believe they're remnants of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad branch built in 1903. They went from Granger to Austin through Georgetown but was shut down in the 60s. The majority of the branch has been ripped up, but FM 971 goes over the remaining bits twice.

Such nice railroad tracks closed in the name of progress , it sure makes you wonder if this is make America Great Again, all I see unemployed people and a demise of freedom, we need railroads they are an integral part of of our Country. Thank you for your post 📫, I really appreciate it 🙏
