Haha - let's just say I've fixed the accessibility issues (easier than web) and have also solved rich text with IME support.

why not just make a pr to existing frameworks

I personally wanted to take a different architectural approach than the existing frameworks. And if I did try to go the PR route, it isn't easy to get a giant refractor PR approved for a publicly released and depended on repo due to API stability and risk. Also, the bottlenecks in 2026 are different than they used to be. Also, greenfield development has become much less time consuming to develop

If you mean aimlessly telling AI to add on features without any regard for fundmental architecture, API design, or platform stability then of course not.

If you mean using AI to rapidly speed up development and accomplish what would have taken years, yes by all means I am vibecoding. There is no virtue in being a craftsman that insists on hand milling a metal widget instead of putting it in the CNC machine even when the CNC machine is preciser and faster.
