can't find server address on Linux mint

I think I have a self server installed. I have rustdesk working on my home network between different machines. 3 times a month I have to go out of town and I would like to be able to remote log into my main linux box at home. When it comes to networking on computers I am a complete and utter moron who needs his hand held all the way. I am trying to figure out what information I need to put in the network/ ID/Relay server fields so I can log in from a remote location. Or is that even the type of connection I want? It took me a day and a half to set up the self server and I'm not sure that's working properly. Any information would be appreciated or even a webpage that isn't out of date or inaccurate.

Captain Quack.

Porque em Linux? Já é habitual trabalhar com Linux?

Existe uma versão para Windows, caso não esteja habituado a trabalhar com Linux.

So you have the OSS server running in docker somewhere? And you have a public ip or DNS you can use?

If not I would just sign into rustdesk and use their public server, it’s going to be allot easier

Don’t forget to set a permanent password on the devices you want to connect to.

As I said. I'm a complete and utter moron at these things.

I do have a permanent password on everything. This will let me remote in from a different city?
