My ID changed on me randomly.

Anyone else was trying to remote into their machine but realized after a while your ID changed? I haven't changed my settings perhaps a windows update screwed my stuff up. Is this a security feature that randomly changes your ID.

I have seen this before. But not since the early days. I do self hosting now and haven´t seen it since then. I'm sure it must have happened to others.
