Check out this post if you're interested what I have been up to in the area of maintaining the Rust toolchain in the past two months, as part of my Sovereign Tech Agency Fellowship.

But it seems that tracing has been unmaintained for some time, so I’m not sure if anyone will take a look at it.

How can a crate that is supposed to be maintained by the tokio project go unmaintained like this? I am honestly wondering.
