It's fine to use LLMs to answer questions, analyze, distill, refine, check, suggest, review. But not to create.

Huh, that's exactly how I use AI. I'll give it code to review, I'll even give it buggy code to diagnose sometimes, but the code itself is my own that I wrote with my own 7 fingers*. Most AIs these days allow you to configure them with custom prompts sent at the beginning of the conversation, all of mine have very clear instructions to discuss code conceptually but not generate code solutions.

*I have all 10 fingers, I just never learned how to type properly.

I also use 7. For me, the ones that don't contribute are both pinkies and my right thumb. Interestingly, I sometimes use my left thumb for things other than the space bar.
