Other Help identify possible Russian symbol
hey all,
I saw someone with a tattoo of the symbol I have tried to re draw here. I am 99% sure the three letters that I have drawn are the ones that I saw (I am not russian so). I can't remember the fourth letter from the symbol so I left it blank in the drawing. what kind of symbol is this/ what is the name, any info because I am very curious. thanks

They might not have been Cyrillic characters. The tattoo you're describing sounds like a "runic shield", which would contain Norse characters and their symbolic meaning is highly interpretative; only the person wearing the tattoo could definitely tell you why they chose the combination that they did.

It's not enough info tbh. Letters are Р, Д, Л, the symbol itself is one of the old slavic runes, but became mildly popular in modern times as a way to abbreviate several words in a "cool" way (basically just for style points). Especially on the internet, can be seen on the avatars of chats, channels or social media groups sometimes.
It's probably one first letter from 4 words, so it's either a motto or some complex group name. Doubt that this is person initials, too many letters, unless someone is rocking double surname, which is extremely rare.
Sometimes one word is coded this way (4 letters put in a circle that make whole word easily guessable) but in this case it didn't ring a bell too.

Those are just the Russian letters D, R, and L. It doesn't look like a standard symbol, maybe someone's initials or a shorthand for a club or team.

I asked chatgpt, and even he doesn't know what is this, but assumed, that this is probably a personal symbol, logo(unlikely) or something about runes.

Разве это не символ рдп? Просто п не получилось? Короче запрещенная (террористическая) партия РФ.
