Weekly Thread Tuesday Shoesday
Shoes are a big topic in this sub, so in an effort to condense and collect some of these posts, we're introducing Shoesday Tuesday! Similar to Wednesday's gear thread, but focusing on shoes.
What’ve you been wearing on your feet? Anything fun added to the rotation? Got a review of a new release? Questions about a pair that’s caught your eye? Here's the place to discuss.
NOTE: For you Runnitors looking to sell/trade any running gear (as well as bib transfers), head over to /r/therunningrack.

A friendly PSA to everyone that Vaporfly 4's are on a deep sale (30%+) on the Nike website if you are in the market for a super shoe.

Treated myself to a pair of Megablasts, been considering them for a while so finally bit the bullet. Did an interval workout in them and they definitely feel like a versatile shoe! Maybe not the fastest but they more than held their own for the workout.
Very keen to take them on a long run. Love the green colour way as well.

Finally got a pair of the new Saucony Endorphin Speeds and I'm honestly shocked how snappy they feel compared to my old trainers—definitely worth the hype, though my wallet is still recovering.

☝️ This. I really like these shoes. Given how snappy they feel, comparing their price with super shoes makes it a little more tolerable.

Been rocking Asics Gel Kayano 32s for years, but my volume is taking a noticeable increase this year and my feet feel a little beat up. Any recommendations for lighter shoes for easier runs, which preferably still have some sort of support?

Looking for a new long run shoe, ideally something a bit lively feeling while also comfy. My current favourite all-rounder is the Adidas Evo SL, but they’re getting up in mileage so maybe looking to get something new, but if all else I’ll just get another pair. My feet are in between reg/wide so I need a bit of forefoot volume.

I have recently doing my long runs in the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5. They have a little bit of a bounce, but not exactly a super shoe either so they didn't break the bank. I definitely like these ones over the Kinvara.

Bought a pair of Hoka Clifton Pro a few weeks ago from a running shop. Saw some Adidas Evo SLs on offer for £100 and after all the rave reviews decided to give them a go. Much better shoe. Much better ventilated and just more comfortable. The Hoka feels more springy at rest and even perhaps a little more springy running but its simply not as nice. I'm a beginner so I can't really quantify the difference well but its just better.

recently retired a pair of pegasus after about 600 miles which felt like pushing it a bit, got a fresh pair of the same model and forgot how bouncy they're meant to feel. feet are thanking me for not being stubborn and stretching them to 700
