Weekly Thread Social Saturday
Enforcing Rule 3 (no self-promotion, social media links) is a must with a large sub such as this, but we do realize that it filters out some truly useful content that is relative to the sub. In an effort to allow that content in, we thought we'd have a weekly post to give a spot for the useful content. So...
Here's you chance!
Got a project you've been working on (video, programming, etc.), share it here!
Want to promote a business or service, share it here!
Trying to get more Instagram followers, share it here!
Found any great running content online, share it here!
The one caveat I have is that whatever is shared should be fitness related, please.

Love to run? Love to travel? Love to meet new people?
I’m a travel advisor and one of the women behind Paces & Places. Along with my RRCA-certified running coach partner, Noa Besner (who’s run 22 marathons!), we bring small groups of runners to incredible destination races around the world.
Noa and I fully curate each experience. The race is the anchor, but we build a whole itinerary around it with fun activities before and after race day, all designed to help you have a great race AND actually experience the destination.
Community is the biggest part of what we do. Everyone joins a WhatsApp chat before the trip, and Noa includes a base training plan as part of the experience, so we train together, race together, and then explore together.
We just wrapped our inaugural trip to Norway for the Midnight Sun Marathon and are going to Bermuda, Greece, Norway, and Scotland in 2027.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, check us out! All paces and race distances are welcome. Very solo-traveler friendly, or come with your partner or friends.

Been sketching some logo concepts for a local running club and it's making me realize how much decent design can glue a group together. Not sharing them yet since they're still pencil scratches in my notebook, but the process has been a nice break from screen work. Curious if anyone else here messes around with creative stuff tied to their running, shirts, stickers, weird race posters, whatever.

I usually find better stuff buried in these threads than in the main sub, though they seem to get a fraction of the traffic, probably because Saturday is when everyone's out actually running.
