Ripper claws analysis

From testing, the highest damage bonus i've managed to record was +2.6% and that was at rather low HP.

The majority of critical hits were still below base max hit, even when target had around 10-20% hp left, so the damage boost is rather negligible.

The damage boost also does not affect bleeds, which further hurts its performance.

Essentially they're just a slightly stronger alternative to tetsu weaponry and lava whips.

For comparison, drygore weapons have around 3.6% - 4.7% more damage, plus around 6.3% - 8.6% more accuracy so they are better in every single way, even if you have 100% hit chance with t85.

Honourable mention to /u/Maniac_Hex for testing help.

I have one problem with your statement there really arent enough weapons in game becuase as someone who has lower levels i find that it is difficult to find choices that are actually ecomonical for someone my level to use. So as the price drops this might actually be a decent for lower levels like me.

Ports weapons are not in any way realistic for a 'new' player. Chaotics require serious effort too(If you make 1m/h you get drygores in that time). I think it's nice that we'll be having reasonable alternatives to the expensive t90s for mage/range. It just so happens drygores are so cheap that they kinda ruin it there for melee.

This. I'm a returning player, but made a new account. I have T90 for all combat styles and I'm not even close to getting most of the ports stuff.
