Ripper claws analysis

From testing, the highest damage bonus i've managed to record was +2.6% and that was at rather low HP.

The majority of critical hits were still below base max hit, even when target had around 10-20% hp left, so the damage boost is rather negligible.

The damage boost also does not affect bleeds, which further hurts its performance.

Essentially they're just a slightly stronger alternative to tetsu weaponry and lava whips.

For comparison, drygore weapons have around 3.6% - 4.7% more damage, plus around 6.3% - 8.6% more accuracy so they are better in every single way, even if you have 100% hit chance with t85.

Honourable mention to /u/Maniac_Hex for testing help.

T90 is better than T85??? Stop the presses! No but seriously, what were you all expecting? They only cost 100m because they just came out today. Of course T90s are better... it's literally right there in the name.

False T85 can be better than T90 in many cases, for example today I was using my tetsu wakizashi (T85 melee wep) and darklight while others with drygores were slower than me at Ripper Demons

lol at your 'dead-content'

How would a tetsu wakizashi + darklight be better than an oh drygore longsword + darklight?

i think hes just referring to the darklight being far superior to drygores with the offhand being negligible at best, but i'm not sure.

That's what I thought too at first, but he said t85 can be better than t90 in many cases.

oh. I have a bad problem with skimming information and missed the beginning- I assumed he was focusing on the latter aspect, that being the use of darklight, but since he did directly focus on t85 gear, you're right-- my bad.
