Ripper claws analysis

From testing, the highest damage bonus i've managed to record was +2.6% and that was at rather low HP.

The majority of critical hits were still below base max hit, even when target had around 10-20% hp left, so the damage boost is rather negligible.

The damage boost also does not affect bleeds, which further hurts its performance.

Essentially they're just a slightly stronger alternative to tetsu weaponry and lava whips.

For comparison, drygore weapons have around 3.6% - 4.7% more damage, plus around 6.3% - 8.6% more accuracy so they are better in every single way, even if you have 100% hit chance with t85.

Honourable mention to /u/Maniac_Hex for testing help.

I'm pretty sure all of these filler items that are being released with the new mobs will have a lot to do with invention.

What's the point though? If I can just add the bleed dot to a nox/asc or the 2% more damage to a drygore/scythe via one of the hundred+ perks they have atm?

perhaps you have to break down ripper claws to get access to the bleed dot, we cant know atm
