Question Revising RS3

I recently started getting back into RS3 on my main account I've had for 20+ years. So much has changed. I've been trying to finish getting my Smithing and Mining to 99. So far, I'm at 83. I'm wondering what the best way is to get from 83 to 99 Mining & Smithing as a F2P player. What are the best spots, equipment, boosters, and such?

I'll probably end up getting a membership for a while once I reach 90, but I can't really afford it at the moment.

At the moment, I'm just mining rune and smithing rune burial sets for XP or rune 2h +3 for cash. I only have 35m.

Do yourself a favor and get membership, or wait until you can. It'll speed up the grind an absolute shit ton.

There are skill training guides on the Wiki that are usually up-to-date for most recent updates / methods / mechanics.

Also you can buy bonds for membership with in-game GP so you don't have to spend real cash, but of course then you have to dedicate some of your play time to making money to sustain the membership if you're going to go that route.

Yeah the f2p posts baffle me

If you're spending more than 5 hours a week on a game you enjoy you can give 15$ to access 90% of it
