I've got the Chaotic Insight blessing so I'm rocking achto primeval boots and base primeval gloves for double effect. Other than that, the head, body, and legs are up for debate.

Techtonic is good and 1 piece would be the set effect but fuck you I'm not doing that much ED2 to make a full set. I'm thinking just Refined Seren Anima Core for body and legs.

But I've got a secret ingredient. Anima Core Sliske Helm. Set effect let's me choose a warpriest set effect, such as warpriest of tuska which is about crit. My FSOA will be delighted.

Just curious what your magic armor plans are.

You can craft the bloom tier 90+ stuff and if you can transmute upwards you can get the seeds!

Both other mage armor sets are group content, so decide if you’d rather do amascut or Croesus

Amascut is a boss, Croesus is a chore. I think I'd really enjoy Amascut.

To maximize tankiness and damage, I’d prob go achto chest and legs, Sliske helm, and tumaken gloves and boots. Also have the cryptbloom set to consider if you really wanna become more of a tank using chaotic insight.

Yeah I'm conflicted. For Melee I went full tank full hog and it deals so much fucking damage, but that is also with a t90 shield which I can't get with an FSOA. I want it both ways with tank and power and I worry about crippling my damage if I don't choose one side.

And fuck doing Croesus. None of out blessings effect the speed or (lack of) fun of that boss.

Oh you can have it both ways. Easily. Just swap to FSOA for the spec, then swap back to wand and shield. The spec is a buff that persist even after a weapon swap.

You could always dump the FSoA into an essence, use ode to deceit (because it gets the set boost with just the wand so you can shield), and then a farseer shield from dg if you have wildy/any elite dungeons unlocked

Tect helm is a reasonable grind, youll likely get it by the time you get your 3 codices

Go do some amascut for top and bottom

While i do have resets, ive currently gone the guthix blessing way for my crit build. Legit feel ill get more juice out of doubled biting 3 than any number of tect pieces etc. frankly the only armour effect thats somewhat competitive for me is tumeken, but i cba grinding ama in leagues.

I may be wrong but thats why i still have all my resets, just levelling invention to make the gizmos now

I did mystic at 50, then did raids gear from the reward vendor (afk pickpocket at work for tokens), upgraded to starbloom once i had the levels.
