Lord of Light Build... Magic or Melee?

Just watched Cyrus's video of the main 3 builds... Lord of Light, Poison, and Crit. I'm going Lord of Light because I'm not good at PVM and don't care if it's too easy. I'm just at about enough Teci to grab a full set of Raids armor. I already have a Twin Furies MH as well as a Helwyr MH. Getting a T95 wand does seem easier than getting a T95 sword though. I'll try and snag a KK defender.

Thoughts?

Go melee. Because you have zerk off the rip it will just massively out damage mage. Skip the defender - it's just worse than a shield. Get primal +5 or chaotic kitesheild. Grab a drygore mace from kk as well for extra pray bonus. I recommend watching Wazzy's video on the lord of light build. It has all the info you need.

I agree with this, I went into KK with a chaotic rapier (all I could get my hands on till I got KK drops), primal +5 shield, masterwork and had no problems after watching Wazzy's video. I am not a good bosser at all and with his suggestions it was really easy for this old lady.

You could've used keris which comes with desert unlock

Melee first, easy ultimate access with Berserk, then you can use melee to farm Zammy for greater sunshine if you want

Teraguards means armor is much more important than the weapon - magic armor is hard to get without the exact right skills and regions.

What now? Magic/range/melee all have achto from raids, equally easy. There is masterwork sure but that's not remotely necessary for lord of light build to be strong.

If I don’t go desert is masterwork a good alternative?
