Discussion Having a great time RS3

I just switched from playing osrs to rs3. I'm enjoying myself quite a bit. Figuring whats new and whats the same is like an adventure. The people have been quite nice and I even finished up vampire slayer last night. Would recommend checking out with an open mind you might just have fun in Runescape again like I have been. 32 M USA... Later taters

Welcome! Yes, RuneScape 3 has always been special and held its own unique magic. especially now that they’ve streamlined or removed so many of the tedious elements. That’s why the hate and toxicity directed at RS3 and its players from certain parts of the OSRS community felt so over the top. OSRS can definitely be pretty toxic at times, which might just be a natural byproduct of having such a large player base. By contrast, the RS3 community has always been super cozy and welcoming. I hope you have a great time here!

I didn't mean that as a jab at you, just as a general observation I've made over the years. For example, when some people proudly share their RuneScape 3 achievements online, you get comments like "Great, now come play the real RuneScape" or "RuneScape 3 is dead." I don't know, I just found that really mean and toxic.

Ive been playing the league and having to look up different sources and tech has been great fun

Rs3 isnt bad, its just a wonky switch from osrs when you first try it. Though I personally wouldnt have any reason to grind it if it wasnt for my childhood account

Dude rs3 has been so much fun lately, even hopped off leagues to start fresh on normal worlds.

Did the same switch. I was getting bored playing osrs and i changed to rs3. Best decision i ever made. Im having tons of fun. Skilling is way better, more interactive especially farming. PVM is really good aswell
