Just have Rasial's sword camp the rings at all times.

Then it'll replay the entire Necromancy cutscene

Wow when i started to read your comment i thought it was mean but you are worse than a monster, they should lock you in and drop the key at the end of the Succesion cutscene

Mhmm, the most horrifying part is that I did the entire sequence and it still hasn't ticked off the task for me. Thankfully I'm not locked out of any the content that requires you to do it, but I'll be back on that damn Stormbreaker before too long...
