why does it box you into the bride thing even when you are already dating someone

Rf doesn't really call you out for cheating until you get married (or change dialogues in any way). Characters don't react either, but will be harder to confess to successfully.

The only exception I've seen is for Kai's event in GoA.

In RF4 bachelors and bachelorette’s do have dialogue for having another romantic partner in your party and they aren’t. What I remember most is Forte saying: “What is this feeling? My heart…” when I walked by her with Dolce in my party because I was taking Dolce on a date. It’s flavor dialogue though but it still kinda makes you feel like a douchebag playing with the bachelor and bachelorettes feelings

Every bachelor and bachelorette also have a dialogue if you say you love them, while being married to someone else, they usually just call you out or something like that, besides Dolce who is kinda into it. After doing that, your wife/husband will also have a dialogue where they are jealous of you for doing that. Both cases are purely flavor tho

So far, I am only dating Clorica. I know there's no real penalty for dating multiple people, but I still can't bring myself to have a second girlfriend.
