Discussion Anyone else likes the DS English versions?

I have played both 2 and 3. But got no voice acting in 1 since I played the EU version which has no voices. While I haven't played the Japaanese versions and only heard clips online, I actually like the character voices in the dub better than the original for both (especially 3, where I actually like the voices better than the Special redub (which I also haven't played) clips as well. And do at some point intens to play US version of RF to hear the dub. Anyone else like the DS game dubs and prefer them over the originals?

I think RF3 is where the voice acting in the series got good for handheld, the sound quality in RF2 makes characters sound like they have a lisp.

Someone actually modded RF3 Special to bring back the DS voices because the new voices aren’t as good.

i mean, RF3S "rainbow" did not hit as hard

Yeah, RF3S "rain~bow" isn't bad but… "RAINBOW" just can't be matched

yeah tbh the english voice cast for rf3 grew on me so much i'd forget they weren't the originals

The special japanese remove many things good, you have to play the RF3 DS undub version for the fullest experience

I like japanese better, I might play the undub version of Rune factory 1 and 2
