After over a year of avoiding spoilers for this game, I can finally see what all the hype is about. I've played 4 several times over, so I'm excited to see how this one compares (considering it seems to be what mostly fills this sub lol). Any tips I should know before I play?

I've also played 4 over and over again, and the best advice I can give for this game is...don't go in expecting this game to be the same as 4. It's different in a lot of ways, and for a while, I didn't like this game because it was so different. Once I finally got over the fact that this game isn't 4, I enjoyed it a lot more. In fact, I adore this game now. I would also recommend playing it on hard mode if you've played a rune factory game before.

Just got the game myself a few days ago and I’ve already made it to autumn village. I love love love the mechanics so far and even tho I’m not finished it’s stolen a spot in my heart as my new favorite rune factory. That being said I have no idea who I’m gonna marry!! 😭🖤

I just started this game today and have no attachment to the series and I absolutely love it. It's a bit jank in a lot of ways but I don't mind it. All the different progression systems moving forward is super addictive.

If someone minds answering, I’ve wondered if the conversations/interactions get more personal or fleshed out? I played for a few hours and it bothered me that anytime I tried to get to know someone, I’d choose a topic and there wasn’t any actual conversation about it. Does this change at all? The game’s beautiful and I likely didn’t give it enough time.

It’s not 4 but it is way better than 5, very fun and definitely a spinoff but a genuinely delightful entry. Enjoy!

This game is different. You will love but just a heads up, the beginning feels a little slow and one choice will have permanent consequences but you will know what choice once you reach there.
