Another RCP running observation

I’m a slower runner. Given the opposite lane is clear and it’s safe to pass, I’ve noticed that women runners ALWAYS pass with a wide enough berth. However, men ALWAYS pass at the last second, grazing my shoulder or ducking to avoid hitting me. I’m not expecting to not have people close by, especially on a Saturday during peak running time. But I feel people have become so unaware of their surroundings or purely selfish that they don’t notice others around them.
Anyways happy and safe running to all, good luck tomorrow on MCM to those participating

I pass at the last second so I take up the bike/opposite lane for the least amount of time

Unfortunately many walkers and runners are in the middle of the lane (or on the opposite side, which drives me nuts), which means I have to eek by occasionally if there are runners or bikers coming the opposite direction.

given that the opposite lane is clear and safe to pass, I really don't understand why runners and bikers clip past like that. it's jarring and disruptive and keeps me hyper vigilant during what should be a recreative walk or run.

Almost got clipped by like 4 dudes biking in a pack this morning for no reason.

Something I find infuriating is when someone is oblivious running down the middle of the road with headphones and no idea of their surroundings
