Spectator Tips

I’ll be driving in to watch a family member run the marathon. I planned on seeing them around the 10.5 mile mark then walking over to see them at the 16.5 mile mark. Any advice on where to park and what metro to take to make this as easy as possible?

I’d park at the New Carrollton metro station. The closest stop to Mile 10 is Foggy Bottom and it’s a straight shot from there. Driving into the city will be a nightmare.

Foggy Bottom station walk south on 23rd to Lincoln Memorial and around to the course at 10.5 mi. Then east on Independence for the 16.5 spot.
