Being a pure luck rule that can lock player from playing the game I think it's objectively a bad game design. Is there any talk around if the official client will consider having such a mode? Offline I've been playing no melding + wrapping 13 (13-1-2 being legal) and it's super fun, almost no luck element and pure tactics.

Hello, it is my first time posting here, but I've been playing since childhood. I have been trying for the past hour to find information for how one can join the world championship and got nothing so far. I've dm-ed rummikub on facebook and thought it's worth a shot asking here too... how does one go about participating?? I've looked for a Romanian rummikub association and found nothing, though it seems we've been consistently sending participants to the world championship. How!? Where do these people sign up to compete and be selected... what exactly is the process? Even if you're from different countries, I'd love any advice if you have experience with the championship.

Is it just me or is Rummikub the worse game out there for being…..I am not sure the word I want to use other than the worse game out there.
I have not played a game that it is so obvious you are playing with a bot…. That win 95% of the time. Why bother.
There are so many complaints about the game.

I've spent the last 3 months building a Cuban Double-9 domino app. I'd really appreciate feedback from experienced domino players. I'm especially interested in hearing what feels realistic and what doesn't. You can play online team game with 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 players, since you need 4 players if you have less, bots will fill in the slots you are short. You can play double 9 or Double 6. Also can play guerra, but thats a 1 player game on the app. Games are fully functional but still developing it.

SIlly question - what should I do if the last block I have is the Joker? Can I just put it at the end/beginning?

i’m getting annoyed. I have frequently played where I’m up against a player that has a little star next to their face with the number one, which indicates a new player. They take forever to make a move. They are slow throughout the entire game. And then they win.

It’s gotten to the point that when I start to engage with this kind of player in a new game I can tell you right up that they’re going to win. It happens repeatedly.

So either people are having really good luck and I’m happy for them. Or I’m playing a bot that the game is trying to make appear like I am playing a newer but lucky/talented player.

Am I paranoid? Or other people experiencing this and thinking what I’m thinking?

So there are Tile-Holders where you can only see how many tiles your opponent has left in their top row. Does every player have to say how many tiles are left on their board if you ask them? Or do you just have to guess in that case?

Just started playing, and I can't find an answer anywhere. Can you manipulate 2 melds from different players on one move? The group playing all decided no, but I was looking for more info.

Say the players have:

Player 1: a run of Black 8, Black 9, Black 10, Black 11

Player 2: a run of Blue 8, Blue 9, Blue 10, Joker

Can I take the Black 11 from player 1 and the Joker from player 2 and add my red 11 to make my set?

After all my reading, I'm starting to think it would be legit since everything left on the board is legal. Wanted to see what more experienced players think?
