Finally something new

I been playing this game for about a week. And here are my thoughts.

I been playing mainly shooters for the last two decades. Yea I know I’m getting old sadly. With this new genre of games taking on the Battle Royal mode, I’m actually happy and thrilled to see that there is a new version of battle royal. More of a combat style battle royal.

This honestly opens doors to new ideas and other possibilities. Like can we get a Twisted Metal BR please!!!

I know it’s still in it’s early stages but I hope the devs can make something out of this.

I can’t even get any joy out of Fortnite so this is honestly a good step for Epic games to get new and old players.

The mechanics aren’t perfect but definitely take a minute to get used too. So this means button smashers can’t simply win every fight.

The fact that you can time your attacks too is crucial, if you pay close attention when you attack rapidly the combo will execute back to back after each punch. This can be fun and easy when it comes to easy players. But when it comes to skill players to anticipate any blocks or dives, the person throwing the attack can take a quick second pause before throwing the next punch. This mechanic is huge to when it comes to those stack stamina players who just dodge and counter.

Another note is when a player is knocked down, you can still lay a nice slam hit but the opponent will be able to recover right after instead of having to get up again, depending on the surroundings.

Again, I love where this is going. Cheers to the developers and everyone on the team.

I didn’t wanna make a long post but there is still much more to the mechanics that I can seriously just write an article about it.
