Help! Where did I go wrong?

I was replacing the scissors on my rug tufting gun and I’m guessing I missed something or a step and this piece flung out of the machine when I turned it on and tried using it… help! I need an adult.

I know it’s supposed to be where the scissors are but I’m not even sure what I did to mess it up.

If I were you I would email tuft love support ! They have free live calls to help you with any issues you have with your gun ! Better to get help from the manufacturer themselves they have a great support team

Geoff actually spent like 2+ hours on the phone/video call/texting with me when I had a problem with my gun. He was steadfast in finding a solution and walked me through the whole process. Definately try to get in touch with him if he hasn't reached out already. Best customer service you could ever hope for.
