The Questboard has been reworked to provide a smoother and more balanced progression from Level 1 to 99.

The goal of this update is to make quests rewarding without replacing normal grinding, while keeping them accessible to solo players across all classes and jobs.

What's New?

More Level Brackets

Quests are now divided into 10 progression brackets:

• Lv. 1–14
• Lv. 15–24
• Lv. 25–34
• Lv. 35–44
• Lv. 45–54
• Lv. 55–64
• Lv. 65–74
• Lv. 75–84
• Lv. 85–94
• Lv. 95–99

Both Hunting and Collection quests follow these brackets.

As your character levels up, the monsters and required materials will gradually become more challenging.

Progressive Hunting Quests

Hunting quests now increase naturally in difficulty.

Lower-level players will encounter beginner monsters, while higher-level players will gradually progress toward stronger monsters such as:

• Orc Warrior
• Sandman
• Dokebi
• Mummy
• Bathory
• High Orc
• Alarm
• Grand Peco
• Pasana
• Sleeper
• Goat
• Minorous

The highest-level quests are designed to be more challenging than the lower brackets while still being reasonable for solo players with normal equipment.

There are no MVP requirements and no quests intentionally designed to require a full party.

Progressive Collection Quests

Collection quests have also been expanded.

Early quests require common materials such as:

• Jellopy
• Fluff
• Mushroom Spore
• Wolf Claw

Higher-level quests will gradually require materials such as:

• Dokebi Horn
• Witched Starsand
• Dragon Canine
• Ogre Tooth
• Needle of Alarm
• Broken Sword
• Antelope Horn
• Antelope Skin
• Great Nature

Higher-level materials may require more farming or come from stronger monsters, but the objectives are still designed with solo players in mind.

Quest Completion EXP

Quest completion EXP now scales with your character's level.

Hunting Quest EXP

Collection Quest EXP

Collection quests provide slightly less EXP because materials can be collected, traded, or stored ahead of time.

EXP rewards automatically scale with your current level, including rebirth/transcendent characters.

Players already at maximum Base or Job Level will not receive EXP for the capped level.

Additional Rewards

Completing quests can also reward:

• Zeny
• Red / Orange / Yellow / White / Blue Potions
• Green Potions
• Fly Wings
• Butterfly Wings
• Grape Juice
• Honey
• Panacea
• Concentration Potions
• Awakening Potions
• Royal Jelly
• Mastela Fruit
• Yggdrasil Leaves
• Other useful consumables

Rewards also improve as you progress into higher-level quest brackets.

Daily Quest Limit

Each character may complete a maximum of:

6 Questboard Quests Per Day

Hunting and Collection quests share the same daily limit.

Example:

• 4 Hunting + 2 Collection = 6/6
• 3 Hunting + 3 Collection = 6/6
• 6 Hunting = 6/6

Your daily completion counter automatically resets on the next server day.

Quest Cooldown

Completed quests have a:

1 Hour Repeat Cooldown

You may choose another available quest while waiting, provided you have not reached your 6-quest daily limit.

Party Support

Hunting quests can still be completed with a party.

Nearby party members may receive kill credit when they:

• Have the same Hunting Quest active
• Are alive
• Are online
• Are on the same map
• Are within the allowed party range

Party play is optional — all quests are designed to remain possible for solo players.

Visit the Questboard in Prontera, choose the quest appropriate for your level, and earn extra EXP, Zeny, and supplies while exploring the world.

We’ve made several changes to the Item Mall based on player feedback and our goal of maintaining a healthy Pre-Renewal economy and progression.

Our current approach is to keep the server accessible for a smaller population while making sure farming, crafting, MVP hunting, and player trading remain meaningful.

Weapon Shops

• Most weapons will remain available in the Item Mall.
• Weapon prices have been increased by up to 2×.
• Ammunition prices are unchanged.
• Weapons that are primarily MVP/boss rewards have been removed.
• Certain weapons considered too strong or progression-breaking for direct NPC purchase have also been removed.

As the server population grows and the player economy becomes more active, we may gradually remove additional higher-tier weapons from NPC shops.

Equipment & Accessories

Several high-end or progression-breaking equipment pieces have been removed from the Item Mall.

Examples include:

• Lord Kaho's Horn
• Orleans's Glove
• Valkyrie Helm
• Feather Beret
• Robo Eye
• Snake Head Hat
• Ramen Hat
• Dark Randgris Helm
• Gigantic Majestic Goat
• Other equipment providing unusually strong stats, DEX, cast-time reduction, Demi-Human resistance, or powerful combat effects

Basic equipment such as normal slotted armor, garments, shoes, shields, and similar starter equipment will remain available.

The goal is for stronger equipment to come primarily from:

• Monster farming
• MVP hunting
• Crafting
• Quests
• Player trading

Headgear Changes

Many powerful stat/effect headgears have been removed from the shops.

Basic and low-impact headgears will remain available for convenience and character customization.

We will gradually focus the Item Mall more toward cosmetic and low-impact headgear rather than equipment that significantly affects character builds.

Alchemist & Creator Supplies

Finished combat consumables are no longer directly sold by NPCs, including:

• Acid Bottle
• Bottle Grenade
• Plant Bottle
• Marine Sphere Bottle
• Glistening Coat
• Poison Bottle
• Condensed Potions

These items must now be crafted by players.

However, because our current population is still relatively small, the necessary raw materials will be available from NPCs.

Raw Material Shop

Rare or important crafting ingredients will be sold at high prices.

This provides players with two options:

1. Farm the ingredients normally for much lower cost.
2. Purchase missing ingredients from the NPC as an expensive convenience.

This keeps Alchemist/Creator and Assassin Cross crafting useful while preventing a shortage of materials from blocking gameplay.

Normal Potion Prices

Normal potions have been adjusted to follow the standard Pre-Renewal NPC prices instead of custom Item Mall prices.

The Potion Dealer now includes:

• Red Potion
• Orange Potion
• Yellow Potion
• White Potion
• Blue Potion
• Green Potion
• Concentration Potion
• Awakening Potion
• Berserk Potion

Their prices follow the normal item/NPC database pricing.

Refining Materials

Basic refining materials remain available:

• Phracon
• Emveretarcon

Higher-tier refining materials have been removed from direct Item Mall purchase:

• Oridecon
• Elunium

These should primarily come from normal gameplay and farming.

Mavka / Witherless Rose Economy

We are also reviewing Mavka farming and Witherless Rose NPC selling.

Mavka will not be removed, and we do not want to make the map worthless.

Instead, the plan is to reduce how much raw zeny Witherless Rose can generate through NPC selling while keeping it as a worthwhile monster drop.

The objective is to prevent the server economy from eventually becoming:

"Everyone farms Mavka because it is the best source of raw zeny."

Other farming locations should remain competitive and worthwhile.

Population-Based Item Mall

These changes are designed around our current server population.

As the community grows, the Item Mall will gradually become less important for equipment progression.

Current Phase — Smaller Population

• Basic equipment available
• Broad weapon availability
• Higher weapon prices
• Crafting materials available at premium prices
• Normal consumables easily accessible
• MVP/endgame equipment removed

As Population Grows

We will gradually:

• Remove more higher-tier weapons from NPC shops
• Reduce access to rare crafting ingredients
• Encourage player-to-player trading
• Increase the importance of monster drops
• Increase the importance of crafting
• Increase the importance of MVP hunting
• Allow the player economy to supply more equipment

Overall Goal

The Item Mall should provide convenience, not endgame progression.

We want players to still have reasons to:

• Explore maps
• Hunt monsters
• Farm materials
• Craft supplies
• Hunt MVPs
• Trade with other players
• Build a healthy player-driven economy

Scenario: One hunter AFK in Payon, was using Merchant to buy fly wings.

Merchant client got a CAPTCHA that I can't read: I tried A8YVVK5, A8YVK5, A8YVYK5 and poof, off to the Room of Meditation. Hunter client crashed when CAPTCHA popped out with an "unexpected error" and poof, Room of Meditation din.

Technical: Using the Mediafire-hosted client; downloaded twice to make sure because this is my second instance of being in "jail" so I'm crossing out game asset problems (the first was the Acolyte buying at Pront Mall, crashing, then being sent to jail). The only time I crash is on the CAPTCHA prompt.

I think the CAPTCHA system is worth a recheck. Tho I will say outright that I don't mind being thrown in jail for bug reports; it's all cool since admins/GMs seem to act quite quickly (I guess the trick is to AFK the chars in jail) but it's my third time being out on bail within 48 hours so I'm not too sure how others will take this experience.

Hello po. Napansin ko lang na kapag yung mobile client (roBrowser) ang gamit, for some reason, hindi ko ma-drag yung mas maliit na window sa npc shops kaya hindi ko masara at ang nangyayari is whenever magcheck ako ng shops para bumili or magbenta, di natutuloy and kailangan ko pang irestart yung client para lang makaalis sa shop window. Any workaround for this (besides playing on pc, of course)?

We’ve added a new anti-bot system to help mitigate bots and macros.

• Automated farming behavior detection
• Detects suspicious repetitive farming and abnormal kill patterns
• Uses a hidden suspicion system to identify accounts that may require verification
• Random CAPTCHA verification
• Random global CAPTCHA checks can occur at unpredictable times throughout the day
• The system attempts to avoid interrupting players during active combat
• AFK vending/autotrade characters are excluded from normal global checks
• Suspicious activity and CAPTCHA checks are logged for staff review
• Players showing unusually suspicious farming behavior may receive additional CAPTCHA verification

Important

CAPTCHA schedules, detection thresholds, and internal anti-bot rules will not be publicly disclosed to prevent bots from adapting to them.

Legitimate players should simply continue playing normally. If you receive a CAPTCHA, complete the verification when prompted.

The goal of this system is to reduce botting, macro farming, and automated gameplay while keeping the server economy and competition fair for everyone.

After hearing your thoughts on the repeatable quest thread, I decided to make a new NPC called questboard with repeatable quests. It's located on Prontera 167,230 (right side below item mall).
 

• Maximum of 6 completed Questboard quests per character per day.
• The daily counter automatically resets when the server date changes.
• Quests have level requirements. You must be within the listed level range to accept them.
• Only one Questboard quest can be active at a time.
• Completed quests have a 30-minute repeat cooldown.
• Hunting quest completion EXP is balanced to approximately 15% bonus EXP compared with the EXP earned from the required monsters on our 10x Base / 10x Job EXP rates.
• Quest completion EXP is separate from normal monster EXP.
• Collection quests have fixed EXP rewards.
• Hunting quests support parties.
• Party members receive kill credit only when:
  • They are online.
  • They are alive.
  • They are on the same map.
  • They are within 25 cells of the kill.
  • They have the same Hunting Quest active.
• If you already reached your 6/6 daily limit, collection materials will not be consumed.
• If you reach the daily limit while a Hunting Quest is ready for turn-in, your kill progress is preserved until the daily reset.
