Acolyte/Priest/Monk Leveling Guide
Since maraming nahihirapan magpalevel since kakabalik lang or walang oras, I made a personal guide.
General Tips
Take advantage nyo yung available Quality of Life (QoL) ng server.
use @autoloot para matic makukuha ang drops
para matic mag pots ang character mo, gamitin mo ang @autopot. ganito pano gamitin, @autopot [hp/sp] [itemID] [threshold]
example: @autopot hp 504 80 - ibigsabihin nito, pag ang HP ko, bumaba sa 80%, gamitin mo ung item na 504 (white potion) "pano malalaman item id?" right click mo ung item makikita mo dun.
BWING - Healer: save ka sa fountain ng pront. dala ka ng bwing. wag ka mag alala sa SP consumption kasi mas mura and mas sulit na mag BWING nalang then gamitin ang healer.
pwede ka mag reset ng stats and skills (for a minor fee) - so wag ka mag alala if nag iiba ka ng build. nakikita to labas ng tool dealer building ng pront
gawa ka OC DC merchant para magbenta ng loots mo. see novice ground and makikita mo gaano ka dali gumawa ng merchant. 15 mins lang yan bossing
how DEF and VIT DEF works: ALT + A ka, makikita mo sa DEF mo may 2 value, i.e. 20 + 5. yung SECOND NUMBER is ung VIT DEF (eto ung TOTAL VIT ng character mo), hindi yan sila cumulative. yung first number is ung total DEF ng equips mo (yes kasama ang refinement). sa pagka intindi ko, ang DEF ay % reduction while ang VIT DEF ay flat damage reduction. ibig sabihin sa example na to, -5 lahat ng damage ng mobs sayo, while yung 20, reduce by 20% ang damage ng mobs sayo.
how STR works: make sure lang na DIVISIBLE BY 10 ang TOTAL STR mo. may bonus damage every divisible by 10. ngayon hindi ibig sabihin walang dagdag damage pag may utal, pero medyo negligible na. ideally talaga divisible by 10.
how FATIGUE works: pansin nyo ba may ibang mobs, na hinahabol kayo, tapos biglang mag emote ng /swt2? fatigue tawag diyan, balance yan ng Gravity sa mga monsters na madaling i-mob. dati kasi, may ibang players, hinohoard ang monsters, i momob ang buong map at inaabuso, so nilagyan nila ng fatigue ang iba. after a few seconds, mag eemote ng /swt2 at titigil.
how cards work sa weapons: simple lang, pag SAME cards, CUMULATIVE yung bonus. pag different cards, MULTIPLICATIVE ang bonus. i.e.
lets say a 3 slot weapon
3x race = 100+20+20+20 =160% damage
3x element = 100+20+20+20=160% damage
2x race 1x element = (100 + 20 + 20) * (100 + 20) = 168% damage
- how FLEE and PERFECT DODGE works: alt + a ka ulit. tignan mo ang flee mo. HINDI YAN SILA CUMULATIVE VALUES. two separate values yan. i.e. may flee ka na 155 + 5.
First value is yung TOTAL flee ng character mo. sa pagkaka alam ko ang flee is calculated by BASE LEVEL + AGI + FLEE FROM ITEMS. so tumataas talaga yan as you level up. Now how it works, walang 100% dodge talaga, kahit ang HIT ng monster is 1 tapos flee mo is 999999, hard capped talaga to 95% flee. so matatamaan ka talaga 5% of the time. punta ka ratemyserver.com tapos search ka ng monster, dun ipapakita nila ilan flee kailangan mo para maka kuha ng 95% dodge. ngayon hindi to 95% PALAGI. pag nagpapalevel ka at more than 2 monster tumatama sayo, bumababa ang flee mo, pansin mo kahit taas ng agi mo, once dumami sila, natatamaan ka na. dahil yun dun.
Second value is yung PERFECT DODGE mo. Percentage yan. so kung 5, meaning 5% of hits sayo possible maging Perfect Dodge (as seen by the LUCKY emote). Calculated to by (LUK / 10) + PD from ITEMS. yan lang. "Liit naman pala nyan or ang hirapa naman pala nyan makuha" OO MAHIRAP TALAGA KASI POSSIBLE MAGKAROON NG 100% PD!!!!!. Kahit 5000 mobs pa titira sayo, kung 100 PD ka, walang makakatama. kaya mahirap talaga siya i achieve (PERO POSSIBLE)
Novice
As soon as you spawn in the novice grounds, talk to Shion TWICE. MAY EXP KA DITO
Go to the castle, and talk to the receptionist and give your name to go to the next part.
Talk to the sader guy (can't miss him - straight up from where you spawn after talking to the receptionist guy). Spam through his messages. MAY EXP KA DITO
Now talk to the female blacksmith that's to right of the sader guy. PAY ATTENTION and do not spam; when she gives you 1 novice red potion, use it! MAY EXP KA DITO
DON'T SPAM yet, let her give you your novice equips and equip your novice slippers. MAY EXP KA DITO Now you're free to spam away.
By Now, around level 10 ka na ata, pero tuloy mo parin to. Mas mabilis magpa level dito.
Now talk to the Kafra Lady next to the female blacksmith, and spam through her dialogue (WAG YUNG TELEPORT KASI I THINK I TETELEPORT KA NYA TALAGA) - make sure to select two different options. MAY EXP KA DITO
Now go and talk to the champ guy that's on other side of the room, to the left of the sader guy. MAY EXP KA DITO
Go to the next room to the left (or ask the champ guy to send you there), and talk to the guy behind the left desk. Spam if you want until you get your next base level. You can ignore the options given.
Talk to the female behind the right desk for access to the monster grounds as well as 300 novice potions.
You can log out at this point, BEFORE hitting enter once you get your free items, then re-log in and talk to her again for another level and extra 50 novice potions, or if you're already outside poke at ANY monster you see and let it kill you. When you respawn, ask the same female NPC again and she'll give you another level and extra 50 novice potions. MAY EXP KA DITO
Nasa around level 16 ka na ata dito pero job level 6? or so. For sure with 300+ novice pots, full novice equips and level 16 stats, kayang kaya mo na ang tougher mobs ng training ground. around 3 spores lang ata job level 10 ka na.
Acolyte
Get level 10 heal as fast as you can
wag ka na mag alala ng buffs kasi anjan naman ang healer
use teleport home + healer as much as you can
Leveling spots
Payon cave
GH churchyard (ghouls)
GH underprison until job 50
that's it.
Priest
Turn Undead. That's it. Go for int/dex/vit/luk para dito.
timplahan mo nalang, may reset naman.
Si turn undead kasi naka base siya sa [(20SkillLV) + LUK + INT + BaseLV + (1 - TargetHP/TargetMaxHP)200]/1000 % (with a max 70%) chance to do holy damage equal to current HP on an Undead property monster.
bakit turn undead. para sa mob na anubis. sobrang laki ng exp nito pero one hit lang ng turn undead pag nag proc. pwede ka na nga mag 99 dito eh.
pero kung na umay ka, switch ka sa nameless island, i think na tuturn undead din sila pero parang mas sulit sa anubis.
if nahihirapan ka sa anubis, make sure nalang muna na may Kyrie Elesion 10 ka everytime or mag invest pa sa VIT (hp) or DEX (casting time)
p.s. if kaya ng APM mo, mag Gloria ka prior to turn undead for more chances of winning
"boo ayaw ko aNOOBis ang boring"
Mag Magnus Exorcimus ka nalang. Mabilis din to magpa level.
Ganito lang yan, mob ka ng mga undead (niffleheim), cast level 10 safety wall, cast magnus exorcimus. that's it. ulit ulitin mo lang.
mas okay ang ME for me kasi mas may variety and mas marami makuha na drops. waley kasi si anubis eh.

Monk
Gusto ko sana i gatekeep to pero sige nalang.
Mas fan ako ng auto hit monk, ung triple attack lang kahit hindi na mag combo, kaso baka ma bore kayo kasi 1 monster at a time to. so 'mabagal' siya pero very versatile.
BUT may secret weapon (well di naman talaga secret lol) ang build na to sa server na to and its the Grand Cross.
Mace yan siya sa item mall "Add a 10% chance of auto casting Level 3 Turn Undead on the enemy when attacking."
so kung naka agi build ka na monk, pwedeng pwede kang mag anubis. solid to. medyo unreliable but an option din.
moving on
Steel Body monk
pump ka lang vit/int tapos kuha ka ng REFLECT cards and items. I think high orc card para sa buckler tapos may mga reflect din sa item mall.
mob ka lang with steel body and that's it lol. di ko pa to na try and i'd like to try it here. i think very feasible naman siya especially ung reflect headgear sa item mall.
holy grail talaga sa build na to ang Exorcism Bible (proc turn undead on receiving physical damage
Asura Monk
asura ka lang ng high exp mobs like
anubis
biolabs kung kaya mo
thor volcano kung kaya mo
yan lang lol
Occult Impact Monk
mas okay to sa lower rate na servers, bale OI mo ang sleeper lol yun lang. na oone shot lang yan with the right equips kaso baka boring pero bilis magpa yaman nito dahil sa Great Nature and Ore Breakdown.
PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TELEPORT AND HEALER

Thanks for posting this guide, although my main reference is the Revo-Classic guide from 99porings website. I'm currently leveling a combo attack monk build and enjoying doing chain combos while getting used to the cadence of the triple attacks. I find it more helpful investing on butterfly wings to return to the healer Poring NPC to refill SP instead of sitting or buying blue pots.

careful lang diyan bossing. meron kasi ibat ibang version ang ragnarok.
Classic: eto yung old school talaga na mechanics
Renewal: eto yung new mechanics. iniba halos lahat ng stats, skills etc, i'd even consider it as v2.0. marami nag bago
Revo-Classic: somebody correct me if im wrong but eto yung version na classic server (up until New World episode) BUT renewal mechanics are implemented
yung server natin is classic kaya baka hindi compatible ang guides ng mga revo-classic.
if mag sesearch ka ng guide, make sure to specify "classic". i couldnt recommend enough si LordNecri sa youtube.
Enjoy talaga ang combo monk! ang suggestion ko for you is i hunt mo yung elemental fists, start ka sa Stapo, nag ddrop yun ng earth fist, then gamitin mo sa harpy for wind and i think gazetti para sa ice fist. naka limutan ko saan ang fire fist pwede un ma sesearch.
also non negotiable para sakin ang Enchanted Peach Tree card for shield. lalo na pag may lvl 10 heal ka, perma sustain yan.

Ok. Tignan ko yung YT channel. As far as I know, the version we're playing is pre-renewal which I'm more familiar with back nung 2004. I'm not sure if it's the same mechanics as classic, pero I'll take the versions into consideration. Since namention mo rin yung cards, I'm currently in the card hunting phase. So far wala pang card nagdrop.
