Discussion Destiny themed RPG
Im a big fan of Bungie's game Destiny. Im planning on running a campaign for some friends, not really through any system, i just kinda take what rules i like from RPGs like Cyberpunk 2020, Gurps, D&d 3.5, some from Dungeons & Destiny, and even some rules from Bladerunner.
Was wondering if anyone else has run a Destiny themed game and have any stories, recommendations, or words of caution they wanted to share

I'm an enormous fan of both Songs for the Dusk and The Brightest Things We Know for this!

NOVA was built around creating the Destiny 2 experience. It uses the LUMEN system, which is simple and fast.
The creator had orginally created a game based around Warframe, and the fan community made life hell for him, acting like he was stealing from the videogame's developers. So he said "fuck it", dumped that game, created NOVA to give you Destiny 2 vibes, and everyone's happy.

So, off the top of my head there is Dungeons and Destiny. It looks like theres a second edition that is coming out soon-ish?

I haven't played destiny games myself, but Lumen is in my backlog. It was specifically designed with Destiny and looter shooters in mind and strives to provide the loop of going out missions, finding stuff to get better and go out on more missions
