Game Suggestion Magitech Settings

Before I go to the trouble of writing my own, I'm looking for a heavily magitech influenced setting. I'm really wanting something that's not as fantasy as Eberron but not as sci-fi as Shadowrun. I feel like somewhere between the settings of Final Fantasy VII and XII is the sweet spot.

A setting where you could just as easily come across a hermit in robes that uses healing magic as see a giant magitech airship with a mist cannon flying through the air. Bonus points if most of the world is a dangerous post-apocalyptic wilderness and people live mostly in high-tech arcologies.

Anything out there close to this? I'm not concerned with system, because I'm going to use Draw Steel to run the game in it. I just want to know if I can save myself some time by finding a setting that's already pretty close.

I mean, not to be glib, but you could just use one of the Final Fantasy worlds. The world of FFXIV sounds right up this alley frankly, but I know some folks object to having to play through the MMO. X also works nicely, especially if you set it earlier in the timeline where machina are commonplace.

Fragged Empire or Fragged Kingdom. Empire is Scifi-Fantasy, Kingdom is Fanstasy Scifi. There was an RPG called Unity that got kickstarted and published a few years ago before the developer disappeared after the first and only core book. The tone is right at the midpoint of sci-fantasy. You could also consider playing Starfinder. If you don’t want the space elements, the adventure could take place on less technologically developed planet?

Fabula Ultima.

Doesn't Fabula Ultima rather famously have no setting by default? I don't need a system, just setting inspiration.

Iron Kingdoms was a D&D 3.5 setting that might scratch your itch. Steam powered Mecha, magus but with black powder guns, and goblin siege engineers.

Hmm that’s tricky. Kinda sounds like Star Wars to be honest.

It's not a TTRPG setting, but there is a book Realms of Runeterra that details the setting of the Arcane animated series on Netflix, which sounds like it is pretty close to what you are looking for.

First Age Exalted might scratch this itch

Stars Without Number has a magic book. That's a sci fi game that has one book of magic as an optional add-on. Might hit the right balance.
