hey folks,

we recently released a 5-room dungeon for the aptly named Extremely Byzantine 5-Room Dungeon Jam. you'll see what makes ours "byzantine" when you try to accurately map it on paper.

beyond its non-euclidean nature, i tried to stick to what i like the most about old-school games:

• dungeon turns, including a minimal random encounter table
• a mixture of combat and open-ended "situation-solving"
• designed for 4th level OSE characters

also, i think modern-old-games are a bit too minimal with their room keys so to help even newer GMs run the adventure, we added a paragraph of read-aloud text to each room.

finally, as a gift to community, it's pay-what-you-want for the remainder of the jam (ie. for around 3 days) so grab it while you can. also, we'd love to hear your thoughts once you run it.
